ExamPracticeHub ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo via Firebase Authentication.

Profile information: Mobile number and profile photo, if you choose to add them.

Usage data: Your quiz/test attempts, scores, progress, streaks, saved questions, mistakes, and coin balance/transactions — stored against your account so your progress syncs across devices.

Device information: A device identifier and push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), used to send you app notifications (streak reminders, practice reminders, etc.).

Purchase information: If you buy coins, Remove Ads, or Premium, Google Play Billing processes the payment. We receive purchase confirmation only (no card/payment details) to activate your purchase.

Advertising information: We show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) and use them to show relevant ads. Where required, we ask for your consent to personalized ads through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any such ads are shown, and you can change this choice at any time from within the app.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate core features: quizzes, tests, PYQs, streaks, leaderboard, duels, tournaments, notes
• To sync your progress across devices
• To send you app notifications
• To process purchases (coins, subscriptions)
• To show ads that support the app being free
• To improve the app and fix issues

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database, and notifications
• Google AdMob — for showing ads
• Google Play Billing — for processing purchases

These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Your Choices

• You can edit your profile information from within the app.
• You can turn off individual notification types from Notification Preferences in the app.
• You can change your ads consent/privacy choices at any time from within the app.

Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Delete Account. This deletes your account and data immediately.
• By request: Email exampracticehub@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete My Account". We process these requests within 7 business days.

Deletion permanently removes your profile, quiz/test history, streaks, saved questions, mistakes, coin balance and transaction history, and leaderboard/referral data. This cannot be undone.

Children's Privacy

ExamPracticeHub is intended for students preparing for competitive exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures (including Firebase's security rules) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
